Two new reviews of Freedom Force hit the net lately. The first one is at Electric Playground. Their score is 8/10 (with a readres' score of just 6.5/10 at the time I write this newsbit), and their conclusion goes like this:
In the end, the single player game does the job for Freedom Force. I even find it replayable, using different tactics and heroes (after all, I can create an endless supply). And ok, ok, I'll say it--we PC gamers have waited a very long time for the superhero experience. Well, here it is finally, and it arrived in style. This is the kind of fun and innovation we long for--now go pick it up.
Autralian Game Zone rates the game a little bit better, 8.75/10. Here's what they have to offer as their conclusion:
I am very proud to be an Aussie an any day, but today I am even prouder!!! Irrational Games' Canberra office has produced a top-notch game that is easily the best in it's genre to date. There is a bit of room for improvement with the game, but as you've seen from my review, the miniscule "bad" points aren't even worth a mention as this the game's great feel over-shadows them. This game is a lot of fun, but the fun isn't never-ending. Unless you get into the Online multiplayer community, you'll be shelving this one after a month, but I still recommend the purchase - you won't find a better Superhero game ANYWHERE!! And we've all wanted to be a superhero at some stage... haven't we?  :-)
