Here's why: Episode 2 provides players with a heap of new quests to complete in the now familiar (and not-so familiar) lands, with a good share of "easy" and "not-so-easy" challenges. The biggest thing I notice when playing ShadowFlare is that it's basically like playing campaigns in table-top AD&D - 90% action, 10% role-playing. If you're after a fast-paced role-playing game, then ShadowFlare is worth looking at, especially with Episode 1 being released for free. Then, being able to pay for each instalment for $15 (US) makes it even more worthy of a look, as you can then pay for it if you like - in good old Shareware tradition! ShadowFlare Episode 1 has been released for free (tory), so if this gaming experience sounds like something for you, give it a try.
