In a preview of Volition's upcoming PC version of Summoner, Daily Radar UK takes a look at the grafx engine:

The engine, which seems to have been slightly tweaked for the PC version to avoid the appalling draw distance that was the PS2 version's real undoing, renders the adventuring in pleasant 3D. It's not spectacular, but it's workable, and Summoner's go-there-do-this dynamic might entrance those who'd like the idea of a non-taxing trip into olde-worlde neverland. Not intellectually taxing, that is: fighting, a curious mix of real time action and static decision making, is rather tougher.
