JustRPG provides you with a preview of GoldenLand, Burut's upcoming RPG/tradesim hybrid. Here's a bit about combat:
Combat will be turn-based in Golden Land. You and any party members will have a certain amount of action points available. These action points allow you to move on the battlefield. Once you use up your action points you will not be able to move until your next turn. It will be up to you to use these action points wisely and make the right decisions that will vanquish your enemies in battle. Enemies that you will fight in battle include dragons, golden bulls, werewolves as well as others that are still unknown. There should be about 50 different kinds of creatures that you will come across in your quest to destroy evil. Each creature is said to have unique AI that dictates how they attack you. Something I find very interesting is that you can target certain parts of an enemy’s body for extensive damage and benefits. If for instance you damage your enemy’s eyes, their attacks will be less accurate. This is only part of what you can expect from an interesting combat system.
