While they think that Spiderweb Software's futuristic RPG (shareware) is graphically dated, they see lots of fun and gameplay in it, nevertheless. A rating of 80/100 and their final statement underlines this: Overall, Geneforge is the kind of role-playing game all RPGs should strive to be like: fun, exciting and with a far-reaching story that sucks you in and doesn't let you go.
