Frictionless Insight has posted a preview of Everquest 2 today:A few years of reflection, player feedback and graphical advances have given Sony Online Entertainment a lot to implement in Everquest II. First and foremost, the development team wants to make EverQuest II an even more personal experience than its predecessor. Since a player’s avatar is his or her face to the online world, much time was spent on customizing avatars. The idea is that you should be able to personalize your character’s face to such an extent that other players will be able to recognize you just by seeing your character’s face. There is an incredible level of facial customization available. Pretty much any portion of the head that you can think of (hair, brow, eyes, skin, and so forth) has multiple sliders to allow you to control the precise shape, shade and orientation of the feature. |
