The latest 'Freedom Force vs The Third Reich' dev diary at IGN has been written by Irrational's Lead Artist Lorne Brooks who shares some info about the art of time travel in this issue.
In this article, I'm going to give you a brief run-down of what's new on the art front for the game. I'm not going to talk too much about new technology (info on which will be coming soon!), but instead focus on what we're doing with the core art assets. The art style of the first game was, I believe, very well suited to its heroic theme. I found that the humor of the story combined with its classic comic book feel was a refreshing breather from other more serious titles that were released at the time. For this game, we hope to bring you an all-new improved art style in addition to a better graphics engine. Here's a brief run down on the new style and other improvements that we are currently implementing.
