We just received this press release from Emura Soft indicating the release of the last episode from ShadowFlare:ShadowFlare: Last Episode Arriving on February 13th
Redmond, WA U.S.A., February 10, 2002 - Emurasoft, Inc. announced that
ShadowFlare: Episode Four will be released on February 13, 2003. Interested
gamers will be able to download it as well as previous episodes from
http://www.shadowflare.us/download.htm. Emurasoft has been giving away
ShadowFlare: Episode One since January 21st as a way of thanking the gaming
community for the enthusiasm with which ShadowFlare was met. Those who
already own Episode One will be given a copy of Episode Four upon its
release. ShadowFlare: Episode Two and Three continue to be available for
download and new players are encouraged to give them a go before they tackle
Episode Four.
ShadowFlare is an action/role-playing shareware game that was released by
Denyusha Co., Ltd. in Japan October 2001. Following its release,
ShadowFlare became a craze among Japanese gamers. In ShadowFlare, players
take on the roles of mercenaries that help survivors in turmoil and battle a
multitude of creatures bent on stamping out humankind. As players adventure
through dungeons and remote cities, their fighting skills grow, and
eventually they choose their own destiny as a warrior, wizard, or hunter.
ShadowFlare is designed for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. ShadowFlare: Episode One
is available for free and the rest of the episodes are priced at $14.99.
