Just because they have a large network behind them, they are beginning to think they can STEAL our features... I am talking about Fileplanet. As you may all know, RPGDot is a small and private fan project and we are paying a lot more (in fact almost 100% more) than we are earning from banners or anything else to keep the site alive, and your positive reactions make us believe we are on the right path! But sites like Fileplanet really are about to make us close down, because they are simply stealing our features and are publishing them on their site. After the Heart of Winter tracks back in february, they now have just taken the Gorasul MP3, and they are not even having the manners to wait for a couple of days before doing so or at least credit RPGDot as their source! Back in february we tried to talk to them, but they were simply arrogant, ignorant and claiming that they are doing everybody a big favour in mirroring our files without permission. So if all else fails, I'd rather shut down RPGDot, than to bow before anyone, who think they rule the internet, no matter how big they are. I had to calm down a long while before I was able to write down these lines and still now nobody from the Fileplanet staff should better cross my way... So, if you, Fileplanet, continue to behave as antisocial like you are doing right now, you can mark yourself the RPGDot Killers! Not sure if you make yourself a lot of new friends then... We will bring you a gameplay video from Gorasul in the next couple of days, let's see how long it takes until this one is available at Fileplanet... Sorry for the harsh words, but I simply cannot take it that our hard work is ruined within seconds by an ignorant,large network! And a last word to Fileplanet: Thanks folks - we from now on take the liberty to feature ANYTHING RPG related from your site on RPGDot without any credit! Please let us know what you think about this matter - place your comment!
