FreeWorld: New Screenshots, Client Downloads Suspended Soon @ Official Site

The FreeWorld screenshots page has some pics taken from within the new Apocalypse Portal version of the client. The game will also soon be discontinuing sign-ups and downloads of the 'classic' client until the new version is ready for release in a couple of months.
We will be closing the sign-ups and downloads of the current FreeWorld client later today. This is just one of many steps we will be taking as we lay the old FreeWorld to rest and start moving into the age of the Apocalypse Portal.

sign-ups will open again for the new game in the next month or two. No dates are set for this.
