Now I’ve been told that the joy of MMORPGs doesn’t come from the actual mechanics of the games themselves, but instead the focus is on socialising and playing with lots of people. It seems strange then that RF Online seeks to impede the social aspect of the game in many ways. For instance you can’t share quests with other members of your party so at the start of the game you will infact just be playing by yourself. Forcing people to go solo in a genre built around the community aspect screams madness to me, but oh well.
