Great game with a compelling storyline based on AD&D rules and backdrop.
I absolutely HATED the combat system, and I still hate the combat system in all the baldurs gate games.
Some people really like baldurs gate, but I personally didn't like it all that much and have yet to meet someone who did. |

i ask for this game for christmas and two weeks later I sold it at ebay.
Really this game does not deserve the description "rpg" - no meaningful npc interaction, very limited and linear exploration of the gameworld, very limited character customisation, and a story that reads like a prelude.
I was really annoyed with the game's ending - basically a teaser and an advertisement for suckers to buy the next episode.
i really feel this game sully the name of the excellent baldurs gate series. |

My son & I love the game it gave us time to play together on the PS2, Now we are hoping that there will be a Part 2 my son can't wait for it to come out. |

Definitely fun, but short. I bought it used, and it was worth the money then, but I'm not sure I would have said the same thing if it were full price.
Only pet peeve was that the last boss wasn't balanced well so that I killed her in 3 hits with the magic item I received. It could have been better balanced.
