Series introduction
An MMO takes a great many hands to move it from being just a collection of ideas and dreams into a final product. The development of an entire new world filled with history, lore, sights and sounds is a very intriguing process, especially when you throw a lot of new and exciting gameplay features into the mix. In this series, we follow the journey of Kytel Greymane, a fictional character exploring the world of The Chronicles of Spellborn. As he visits the many unique places within this world, several developers will talk about their part in making game come to life.

The Tollkeepers Hall tavern
In the Tollkeepers Hall tavern, located in the Statue District, we find Kytel drinking from his mug of ale. In the previous episode, he arrived in Quarterstone and started his quest for affiliation with one of the High Houses. To fulfill the affiliation requirements, he was ordered to win a battle in the Quarterstone Arena. Not sure what to expect there, Kytel decided to spend the night in the tavern and think things over. Whatever should happen tomorrow, it would turn out for the better if he had a clear mind and was well rested. He had hoped to converse with some of the tavern's visitors, but so far, the place had been empty, give or take a few shady characters with a look that had 'bother me and die' written all over them.
