NCsoft Releases Lineage II Collectors Edition

Popular player-versus-player game to include special DVD, 3-D Elf Figurine, game tools and updated maps


AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 9, 2004—NCsoft® Corporation (KSE: 036570.KS), the world’s leading developer and publisher of online computer games announced the release of Lineage® II: The Chaotic Chronicle Collectors DVD Edition, which will begin to appear on retail store shelves this week throughout the United States and Canada.

Lineage II, popular with player-versus-player fans, provides gamers with a sprawling, visually-stunning, fantasy world. Lineage II allows players to take on solo adventures or join with gamers from around the world to battle fierce dragons, take part in heroic struggles and lay siege to majestic castles.

Lineage II Collectors DVD Edition: Each limited edition game pack will come with a DVD containing the full version of Lineage II and the Chronicle I: Harbingers of War expansion featuring castle sieges, a 159 page strategy and hint guide, an updated map of Aden, and a 22-inch tall 3D Paper® collectible figurine. The DVD also contains several trailers including a preview trailer of the Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor fall 2004 update and other NCsoft games. Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle Collectors DVD Edition is available at most major North American computer game retail outlets at an expected retail price of US$39.99, which includes the first month of online game play. After the first month, players will be charged a monthly subscription fee of US$14.95. Sixty-day game time cards are also be available at many North American retailers for a suggested retail price of US$29.99. The game is rated Teen by the Entertainment Software Rating Board.
