The Adrenaline Vault has posted its review of Infinite's RPG-flavored turn-based tactical game 'Warlords IV'. Overall rating: 2.5/5.With the overwhelming success of the “Lord of the Rings” movie trilogy, it’s refreshing to see the masses picking up on what RPG enthusiasts have known for years: you don’t have to wear a pocket protector and be afraid of girls to enjoy a good fantasy story. Hardened RPG’ers, pocket protector-clad and not, have led a new charge down the fantasy highway for years battling demons, orcs and all manner of magical villainy across PC screens since days gone past. Warlords debuted in 1990 and was one of the seminal titles of this computer gaming genre. Since then the Warlords license has yielded two direct sequels as well as other license spin-offs, and now developer Infinite Interactive is bringing a fourth serial helping to the table in the form of the turn-based Warlords IV: Heroes of Etheria. |
