Knights of the Old Republic is not to be confused with Star Wars: Galaxies. The latter is an MMORPG from Sony Online Entertainment / Verant whereas Bioware´s Star Wars installment is a single player RPG that´s set 4000 years before the events of Episodes I-VI.
