I never would have considered buying EverQuest II a week ago. I did not want to play another EverQuest. Though that game was quite enjoyable while I played it, I couldn't imagine going through another fairly boring level grind. Yet after playing the Trial of the Isle for the past few days, I find myself eagerly awaiting the EQ2 box which is now on its way to my doorstep. Keep in mind this impression is only brought on by a thorough adventure through the Isle of Refuge, the extent of the free trial I'm stuck in till the game arrives.
