I have found myself with a title that perhaps is a touch misleading. I know that before I learned what a technical artist did I thought; oh cool they make pretty art stuff… or gruesome whatever is your pleasure. However, the fact is I don’t really make anything you see in the game, and nope I don’t really animate either. As a technical artist it is my job to make sure things get into and work in the game, well to the best of my ability.
