Deus Ex: 1/10 points |
Another stupid FPS! |
Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 1/10 points |
it not good |
Gothic: 1/10 points |
Too bad unplayable with controls |
Icewind Dale: 10/10 points |
What a great game. Much better than Baldur's Gate. Smoother, better graphics, sound, and especially more focused and interesting. Giants weren't bad either. Shocking they couldn't get it when they did Heart of Winter. They figured it on thankfully when they published BG2 tho, thankfully. I hope IWD2 is as marginally good but I'm not looking forward to those 3rd edition garbage. |
King's Bounty: 10/10 points |
The only thing I ahted was it ended too soon. Paid good money for this was I was a kid only to finish it in 2 days. Imagine my surprise when I played a game called Heroes of Might Magic 13 years later and it had nothing to do with the Might and Magic series. |
Planescape: Torment: 1/10 points |
Junk |
Space Rogue: 10/10 points |
A rare SCI-FI RPG. Combined Space Sim with an intriguing Ultima type "tile" system. Precursor to the "ugh" Wing Commander series. |
Ultima 3 - Exodus: 10/10 points |
One of the few games I've replayed. The game had the familiar 3D dungeons, one of the first that weren't randomly generated. The game was incredibly ambitious and had no bugs which was rare for a game of its size. The TSR folks never could catch up to the quality of htis game till Baldur's Gate. The unique thing about this game are the "tile" graphics which allowed for a surface system not usually seen in RPG's - it was ripped off a zillion times especially by Japanese console games. |
Wasteland: 1/10 points |
Poor, poor. Its like SSI tried to redo Ultima 3. |
Wizardry 1 - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord: 10/10 points |
Ahh, the many hours and days I spent hunting for the blue ribbon |
Wizardry 7 - Crusader of the Dark Savant: 10/10 points |
Wizardry Series is the Best. Faction system in this game openned new ground for replayability. |
Wizardry 8: 10/10 points |
thuroughly addictive sequel and worthy of the Wizardry name. Less dungeon crawl than the original though and less of that instinctive need to map but compelling. The DW Bradley inspired elements are OK but like everyone, I miss Tiltowait! |
