ReviewGamer has posted a review of Lords of EverQuest that's more positive than the 7/10 score might suggest:Finally LoE came through to surprise me with a new feature, which after executed for the first time, feels like it should’ve been done a long time ago. Beginning with LoE, not only does your Lord gain experience in battle, but so do all your other units too. In an unexpected twist, Rapid Eye have taken LoE one step closer to becoming the fabled role playing strategy game. This addition makes the game a little more interesting, as battles become easier once your units are of a higher level. But what happens once a mission is over? That’s when you’ll be given the option to transfer units from past missions to the one at hand. This procedure is usually completed prior to commencement of the mission – by using the transfer points given to you at the beginning of each mission to select only a few units to accompany you on your upcoming one. |
