I recently got some great time with Turbine's highly anticipated Lord of the Rings Online (formerly titled Middle Earth Online), and there is good reason to be excited. First off, this isn't just for Lord of the Rings fans; there are some great things at work here that extend far beyond that wonderful universe and into every player's experience. This is shaping up into one hell of an MMO, and it very well may change fantasy online worlds forever.
