Series introduction
An MMO takes a great many hands to move it from being just a collection of ideas and dreams into a final product. The development of an entire new world filled with history, lore, sights and sounds is a very intriguing process, especially when you throw a lot of new and exciting gameplay features into the mix. In this series, we follow the journey of Kytel Greymane, a fictional character exploring the world of The Chronicles of Spellborn. As he visits the many unique places within this world, several developers will talk about their part in making game come to life.

Quarterstone
Last week, we met Kytel Greymane on a shardship heading for Quarterstone. This week, we pick up his journey just after it has moored at the docks of the Green District.

Kytel walks through the wooden boarding tunnel and continues through the customs gate. It is his first visit to the capitol town, and he feels he has some exciting times ahead. The city stretches out before him in every direction; all around there are many wonderful sights to behold. There is so much more life, so much more promise of friendships and success then there was back home.
