My first experience watching Star Wars back in 1977 was a tad frustrating. My mom could never (and still can't) arrive on time for a movie. I think it's genetic. I spent the first decade or so of my life missing the beginning fifteen minutes of every movie I ever saw at the theater. By the time my friends and I were finally seated, Luke and Ben were already in Mos Eisley, parking outside of the cantina.

"I can't abide Jawas. Disgusting creatures!"

Who said that? I hadn't seen anybody's mouth move. Then Luke spoke. Didn't sound like the same voice. And then Ben spoke. That sort of sounded like it - British, but not as high and tinny.

"Come along, Artoo."

Who's saying that?! I leaned over to my friends and desperately whispered this question.

"It's the gold robot, dude! Shut up!" They were still sore about missing the opening.
