WarCry has tossed out a review of 'Jade Empire'. The score is 8/10 and here's a snip:
If memory serves me correctly, Jade Empire is the first major game set in the Wuxia universe. Wuxia is a term which refers to Chinese martial arts movies and literature, particularly those set in ancient China. The average reader is probably most familiar with the Wuxia genre in such movies as Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, and House of Flying Daggers. Wuxia does not deal so much with a historic ancient China as a mythic one. The Wuxia universe is populated by martial artists who defy the laws of space and time as well as spirits, monsters, and animal demons.
