With awesome gameplay came amazingly gorgeous graphics. According to Square-Enix, the developer aimed to generate a mix of European and Arabian imagery with the use of colors, blues and oranges specifically. The game will also utilize Dolby Pro Logic II to generate an engulfing experience. While this was just a demo, I found myself utterly lost in the game’s visual appeal as well as its dramatic soundtrack.

Once I completed both portions of the demo, I was offered another teaser movie, leaving me wanting more. As it stands now, Final Fantasy XII will be the masterpiece of the series, a game no PlayStation 2 owner should live without. Am I stretching this a bit too far? I seriously doubt it. I’m a picky gamer, and if something rattles my cage and leaves me feeling good after the fact (woohoo!), then that’s a positive sign that something grand awaits for Final Fantasy fans in 2006.
