On to the next Vampire: Bloodlines review, this time at eToychest. 85% is the score awarded and here's an excerpt:
The gameplay is very reminiscent of games like Deus Ex and Morrowind, playing like a first-person RPG and less like a FPS. When you start out, you choose your clan from one of the seven “Camarilla” clans, which basically determines how you’re going to play the game. A handy little questionnaire can be used if you need a little help choosing, sort of akin to the present in Morrowind. If you want to do this as a straight up run-and-gun game, you’d be a Brujah, but if you want to play a more talking game, you’d be Venture. Personally, I found myself drawn to the Malkavians, if only for their comedic value in the game. No matter what you pick, however, the story changes very little until later in the game when you begin to develop relationships with each of the four different factions. Depending on which side you pick, you could ether end up as the most powerful vampire in all of Los Angles or as a pile of dust. As a whole, this game plays very similarly to Deus Ex, so if you are familiar with that series then you are all set.
