Sorry, had to write this headline *g*. What it means is that there is a Nevewinter Nights Interview at GamespyDaily. They talked to Greg Zeschuk about the new Aurora Tool for viewing 3D models in Neverwinter Nights, released yesterday (story). Here's a bit:
GameSpyDaily: Can you tell us about the Aurora Tools and what you hope to achieve with them?
Greg: Our goal is to make an extremely robust and user-oriented set of tools that anyone should be able to pick up and use to create modules for Neverwinter Nights using the 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons rules. When I say everyone, I really do mean everyone - anyone that can use windows should be able to make a module in the Neverwinter Nights toolset. The initial modules people make will be quite simple, but as they get experience on the tools and if they choose to learn any scripting they will be astonished and what they will be able to do. This model viewer is a simplified version of what we use to preview 3D models in Neverwinter Nights and isn't part of the toolset we normally use for production.
