Here's a bit from the interesting interview: GameSpy: In the FAQ you state that there will be room for about 1000 houses per game world. Is that number still about accurate? How many more do you have space allocated for if demand is high? Chris Foster: Dereth is so large we could add thousands more houses as demand arises. The number of 1,000 is still accurate. GameSpy: Are the houses pre-built on a location, or do you buy an empty lot and then select a house to build there? Can you build Sho houses in Aluvian territory or vice-versa? (I need to know so that I can pick the ideal spot for Wei-No's Tranquil Dojo.) Chris Foster: Houses are pre-built, to avoid the crowding that might otherwise occur. As to the styles of our houses: they both are and aren't in the style of the Sho, Aluvian and Gharu'ndim cultures; I'll leave it at that for now.
