DeadAlfs has doen a review of NWN expansion set numero uno, Shadows of Undrentide:
Perhaps most notable are the new ‘Inflict wounds’ spells now available to clerics. Like their ‘Cure’ counterparts, these heinous incantations range from Minor to Critical and strip away from enemies the same amount of HP that their hallowed equivalents would heal. It’s a shame that ‘Harm’, the nasty version of ‘Heal’ wasn’t included, but then again the ability to deprive any foe of all but 1d4 HP always was a strikingly over-powered and often abused feature of the D&D game. Sorcerers and Wizards now have access to ‘Bigby’s Hand’ spells, which are beautifully depicted in all their various forms, ranging from modest ‘Interposing’ at 5th level to the brutal ‘crushing’ variety at 9th.
Overall score: A rock solid 8/10!
