The ladies over at Killer Betties have slapped up a preview of SGO's/MS Games' fantasy MMORPG 'Vanguard'.
My experience with viewing Vanguard: Saga of Heroes at E3 was full of awe. When I arrived at the Games for Windows booth I was treated to a glimpse of Telon for the first time. Everything seemed surreal as I stood within speaking distance of Brad McQuaid. So there he was, one of the three people I have wanted to meet in my lifetime, standing right next to me. I shook his hand. Assistant Producer Paul Luna was very helpful with the amount of questions he was fielding as I threw question after question at him. He did a great job running an avatar for the Nusibe Necropolis demonstration. Game Designer Darrin McPherson was the master of all things that included combat and other forms of game play. Then I met Community Representative Nick Parkinson. If you have not had the chance to meet him in person, I can tell you that he is really cool to hang out with. Moving on from the Games for Windows booth, I journeyed to the ATI booth. There I met programmers David Forrest and Ben Tarr. On the same day, I was lucky enough to sit down with Senior Producer Travis Williams and Darrin McPherson. Now that I have set the stage for my E3 look at Vanguard, let me tell you about the exciting features of the game play.
