The ever willing Chuck Yager was partner in an interview at MGON.com. Two questions and the answers for you:
Steve: What features do you think will attract people to Pool of Radiance?
Chuck Yeager: Three in particular…the fact that the game is the first one to use the new 3rd Edition D&D rules, the 3D characters that are big and beautiful and all boast fluid movements and animations, and the fact that the multiplayer and single player games are so totally different (multiplayer is much more akin to Diablo style of play with random dungeons and monster bosses).
Steve: What is the basic plotline?
Chuck Yeager: An evil Pool of Radiance has opened in the city of New Plan, and your group of adventurers is standing guard when a portal opens up before their eyes. Through the portal they hear the sounds of battle and a scream for help from a warrior named Ethan. Ethan had been sent with his own adventuring party to investigate the rise of new pools of radiance in the ruined of Myth Drano. You leap through only to find that time stretches thin and you arrive hours late, where the party finds that Ethan’s band is either dead or missing. There begins your quest to uncover who’s behind it and how to stop the Pool. |
