The second part of RPG Vault's interview on Legend of Mir 3 is now online:Jonric: Do friendly and neutral NPCs represent a significant element in Legend of Mir 3? What kinds of functions do they fulfill?
John Ewan: These are the NPCs such as Tracey the Hairdresser, the Commissioner, and Levi, an innkeeper. They control the stores such as the accessory, armor, weapon, potion and storage shops. The Commissioner is special one as you can use him to place items up for sale.
There are also daily quests that you can start taking at level 11. These will vary from class to class and are randomly picked each day.
These NPCs are also involved in the quest system. There are some others located in various areas of the different maps, with some even being in the dungeons. These out of the way ones are quest NPCs that will be activated when a player is on a particular quest. And there is an NPC that the players go to set up guilds or castle sieges. So as you can see, the NPCs in Legend of Mir 3 are not just static; they are very much involved in the whole game. |
