There's been a lot of speculation lately about the as-of-yet unannounced new Alliance race that'll make its debut in the upcoming WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade. The February 2006 issue of Computer Games Magazine claims to have the scoop, calling the ungodly ugly Draenei the new Alliance race.

Even though this news seems likely as Blizzard must be trying to balance out the Alliance/Horde ratio by making a bunch of people roll Blood Elves and having like 10 in all roll the Draenei, the official word from the company (posted on the WoW European forums) is that Blizzard has given no scoops or has made any statements to any magazine about the new Alliance race.

Keep in mind, however, that Blizzard hasn't denied directly the possibility of the Draenei being the new Alliance race, so who knows what sources Computer Games Magazine used to acquire this info.
