Thanks to Califa from The Core for letting us know that they have posted their review of Westwood's/EA's space-based MMORPG 'Earth & Beyond'.
Because massively multiplayer online RPGs are continually evolving, Westwood has found some means of making the games trade and combat elements more interesting in past year. They spent the first few months after launch working on combat. Class balancing and the introduction of new skill and creatures have helped immensely. Mineral harvesting or mining has also undergone an overhaul in the past year. Now players are able to harvest ore and minerals faster, and receive larger experience rewards. Recently developers have stated that their current priority is exploration content and trade content. Explorers can expect to see updates to the Mars Construction project, asteroids and ruined hulks, in which players can find cargo and better resources. In the future, more rewards will be tailored to the explorer classes. Traders can expect to see more mission types that encourage the building of item lines when working with production in order to decrease the tedium.
So now one year older, is Earth & Beyond a more mature and well-rounded game?
