There is a new preview of Knightshift at HomeLan today. Here's one of five paragraphs:
If you are either an RTS or RPG fan, you don’t have to play KnightShift in the mixed campaign mode. The multiplayer skirmish mode allows real time strategy gamers a way to have a pure experience, with the building of structures, the creation of units and the collection of resources. Granted there are some differences, such as collecting cow’s milk as a resource (that’s the game’s humor content again) and units like mothers-in-law that make workers work harder but overall the skirmish mode is a fairly standard RTS experience. The RPG mode is also a pure RPG, with the selection of one of eight different characters, each with their own attributes, and the quests that different NPCs give you. You collect experience with each quest or monster killed and collect health, weapons, armors and other items while on your quest. We just had access to one map in the beta version but even that proved to be very challenging. |
