SpellForce 2: E3 Preview @ GameSpy

GameSpy has kicked up a preview of Phenomic's/JoWood's RPG/RTS hybrid 'SpellForce II'.
As fans of the original Spellforce and its expansions will know, Spellforce 2 aims to blend role-playing and real-time strategy elements together into an engaging stew that gets you the best of both genres -- a kind of intimate RTS with RPG trappings. It's not an unheard-of concept, but what I saw of the game at E3 looks like it could give fans of either genre a break from the usual.
