Warcry joins the long list of Fable reviewers, with their critique handing out a score of 9/10:
Being immersed in living your dream…or your nightmare…is the premise behind Fable, the game. Immersiveness has been a buzz word in the game development trade for quite some time, and it seems natural for developers and publishers to latch onto the term due to the fact that it evokes a positive response from the gaming community in general. This latest offering by Peter Molyneux's Lionhead Studios, in partnership with Big Blue Box Studios and Microsoft, makes such a proclamation with Fable. This third-person-perspective RPG boasts a truly immersive and personalized gaming experience in which the player makes ethical choices that globally affect his character's interactions. Based on past successes from Lionhead Studios, such as the title, Black and White, a claim like this should not be taken lightly. I guess the $50 question is…does Fable deliver? Let's pull the trigger and find out.
