Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising is Perpetual Entertainment's persistent state title announced a week ago today. It's set around 300 BC, at a time when the city-state was beginning the expansion that would eventually span most of the known world. The player avatars are descended from gods, and can acquire appropriate powers. In service to the Republic, they must face and defeat an array of human enemies and mythological creatures.
