"Based on your personal preferences as a player what are one or two of your favorite traits, and what makes them particularly interesting or attractive?" - that's the question in the Lionheart Q&A at RPGVault. The members of the development team answer it, like Producer Chris Parker:
I'm basically a rules whore, so of course, I look for whatever weaknesses I can find. As far as Traits go, I lean towards the Gifted and Skilled combination. Gifted adds one to each of your Attributes, gives you a one-time hit of -10 to each of your skills, and causes you to gain three less skill points per level. Skilled gives you an extra five skill points per level but makes you get Perks one level later. So all my attributes go up one (which is awesome), I get two extra skill points per level, I lose 10 from most of my skills (big deal, my skills are already higher from my increased attributes, and with my extra skill points, I can advance in the ones I need), and I have to wait a level to get Perks. Hey Mikey, I likey.
