Overall, hardcore fans of the first mod might be enticed by Purge but I don't think the average gamer is going to find much here to hold their interest. And that isn't because the game is bad, in fact, I think the whole idea of the game is great, but there is simply nobody playing it. Face it, this is an online only game so if you can't find anyone playing, you can't play. Running through an empty server is only fun for so...well it's not fun at all. At this time, with the lack of support from the gamers, I can't in good faith recommend buying this game to anyone. However, I won't cast it into the moldy corners of my closet, I'll keep an eye on the game and if at such time I see that it's been gaining some support and people are playing it I'll give it another try and update my review
