Here's a snip about character development for you: In ShadowFlare, you are a male or female mercenary that accepts missions handed to you by your commanders. In order to complete the steady stream of missions, you must defeat various monsters and attackers around towns using armour and weapons that have been collected or purchased. As you gather gold, precious items, and fighting experience, your skill level will improve and wizard skills evolve. As you adventure through the vast ruins of what's left of the world, you'll deduce what happened and who's responsible for the devastation. Once your fighting ability reaches a certain level, you'll be granted the option of selecting your character's profession: warrior, wizard/witch, or hunter. Your skills and abilities will grow according to your chosen profession.
