Based on information gathered both from the game’s newsletter and the advertising banner that is currently featured on the Camelot Herald - as well as a board posts made by Mythic President Mark Jacobs on Warhammer Alliance - it seems as though Mythic Entertainment’s most recent project, an MMORPG based on the extremely popular Games Workshop property, Warhammer, will be titled simply WAR or W.A.R. Up until now, the media has been referring to the game as Warhammer Online.

At no time has Mythic actually called their game “Warhammer Online”, a title that was first used by Climax Online, the company which originally intended to produce an MMORPG for this franchise. Climax’s version of the game was cancelled on June 6th, 2004.
