A site called 'The Black Hand' has a Q&A with Peter Tyson from Codemasters about their MMORPG, Dragon Empires:
Q #15: what makes Dragon Empires different from the hordes of games being released into this genre?

A #15: Beautiful game world (well, a lot have these of course, but ours is uniquely beautiful. Check the shots!). Great tactical choices in combat: We're not about just choosing the best special ability and spamming it till you win. You have to think carefully about your energy, your weapons and what you use vs what opponent. Switching weapons mid-combat is an important tactical decision you can make (and do with just a key press). Combat is going to be a game of skill as much as level. Also, we uniquely combine city politics and the economy into a single whole. I could write a dozen paragraphs on this but I'll stop and say go have a read of the IGN RPG Vault Q&As and see what I mean. Finally, our role based PvP system will give players a lot of freedom in how and when they PvP and also gives their efforts importance. Outlaws gather special and useful resources from sacred beasts (that's how they become outlaw in the empire they are in!) and bounty hunters will be protecting the beasts and chasing off outlaws to give themselves and their clan more local status.
