There's a new review of Icewind Dale 2 at Sharky Extreme. It's rated 8.5 there (out of 10), and here's their conclusion:
Icewind Dale II is another great RPG from Black Isle, and definitely stacks up well to the original. At its heart, the world of Icewind Dale is all about action, adventure and pure gaming fun, and with added Skills, Feats, Races and Classes, the sequel even improves on this formula. Sure, it does lose a few points for using an older game engine, but this really doesn't detract from the overall experience. Icewind Dale II may not be ground-breaking RPG, but it's a sure-fire hit for current fans and a nice bet for any RPG gamer.
