92% is the score awarded to 'EverQuest II' by eToychest in their review:While retailers were busy advertising, show ponying and shoving Halo 2 down numerous consumers’ throats, there were actually other games that were released on November 9th, 2004. After keeping very hush-hush about its beta, as well with much of its development, SOE’s EverQuest II was also released (two weeks before its highly totted World of Warcraft, EQII’s primary competition in the current MMORPG popularity contest). This isn’t an article where I’ll be describing the differences between the two; this is meant to show a couple things about EverQuest II – It’s a massive game. It’s going to eat up a ton of time, and many fans of EverQuest, as well as other MMORPGs won’t even realize it until they’ve logged in months of playtime. |
