-Meet Shamino (11)
3rd encounter with Shamino. He tells you that to get into the Well of Souls you need the Ankh from LB's castle in Britain.

-The Sentinel
Its a large stone face in the sand (11). Talk to it and stand in it's hand for the Mantra of Spirituality. "om" There is a book nearby it as well...

"Down to the Well of Souls: The Well of Souls has long been thought of as a mysterious place where the dead await their final ascension. It isknown that the Temple of Souls is the portal to this netherworld, but not many people have seen and returned to tell about it. There is much that is still not known."

-Whats the Sigil of Spirituality?
The Ankh.

-Blackrock Armor
At the southern-most (10) tip of Skara Brae (a walk and a swim from Trinsic), onthe beach you will find a chest with a Blackrock Helm and Blackrock Arms. The key is given to Rangers at the beginning of the game.

"There seems to be a bug that lets you get the Black Rock Helm and Gloves out of the box, without having the key to the chest. When you find the chest, go to hands on mode. Hold down 'X' for the item ID and drag it around the top of the chest. When it says what item is inside, left click on it and drag it onto the beach. Do the same for the other item. I haven't tried, but it may work on any box in the game. It works on this anyways. This character was a Paladin, so there are ways around not being a Ranger."

-Scroll of Invisibility
The lich in the sand (11) near the Sentinel gives a Scroll of Invisibility and Lightningbolt in Skara.

-Ethereal Void and the Shrine of Spirituality
After the Abyss, after the codex items and the codex cave, work you're way to Britannia and meet him at the hedge maze. Before you go, make sure you have your Orb of the Moons, otherwise you won't find your way back from there.

When you arrive at the Void, talk to all the ghost. They are your friends! They will forgive you for killing them. Talk to them before you cleanse the shrine so they can be brough back to life.

When you're done, head to the large pillar area with Dupre's ghost and the teleporter. The teleporter takes you to the shrine.

Do what you have to do to the shrine. When you're done, talk to Dupre. He will tell you about meeting him with LB in Britain ASAP!

Head to the east to the circle of stones, drop the Orb of the Moons in the center and chant the mantra for Compassion (mu).

When you arrive in Britain, talk to everyone in the castle and enjoy your last moments of friendly togetherness. When you're done, speak with LB. He will point you to Terfin.

--== Semi Linear Walkthrough ==--

-Freeing Shamino - Well of Souls
At the Temple of the Souls (12), swim down and into the corridor under the water... there are bubbles halfway to replenish your breathing supply halfway. Inside, walk into the energy field. You must have the Ankh from Britain to enter. Also: Make sure you've gotten the Candle of Love, Book of Truth and the Bell of Courage.

"I got into the well of souls, with the Ankh from LB, and I still cannot get through the force field. Do I need to have the candle, book, etc? to be able to do this? Shamino makes no reference to having these items to get into the well. Everybody else seems to suggest that all I need is the ankh, and the force shield will go away. Is this a mission critical bug?"

No! All you need is the Ankh. I couldn't get in either until I finished Destard, Valoria, and got the Letter from LB.

Once inside the Well of Souls, speak to everyone there.

Calan meets you at the entrance to the Void. He tells you about the Book of Truth.

Elizabeth doesn't know what love is. Talk to her and retrieve her baby found on the bed at the house in the Northwest part of the village.

Speak to the man at the bar. He is without courage. Go grab the letter found in the windmill nearby, and have him face is fears.

(These three people represented Truth, Courage and Love.)

When you are done with speaking to the villagers, walk into the temple up the hill with the large carved faces.

"Before you get to Shamino's room, there is a block with a white globe on it.

When you enter Shamino's room... read his journal on the pedestal. It tells you what you have to do before you perform the ritual on him. You have to click twice on each of the 4 golden braziers to remove the white light on them, then light them up with your linear spell.

Drop the Bell of Courage, Book of Truth, and the Candle of Love on their respective holders. The holders are marked with golden plaques. When they are placed...

"Ring the bell, read the book, and light the candle. Chant the Mantra of Spirituality, 'OM'."

After you free Shamino, Malchir the ghost appears. Try to convince him to help you enter the Abyss.

He tells you how to summon Pyros.

"Place a demon skull, a red candle, sulphorous ash, spiders silk, and a piece of blackrock in the center of the pentagram. Ignite the candle."

Leave Skara and set sail for the Isle of the Avatar.

"There is a major bug with Shamino after Malchir tells you how to summon Pyros. Shamino must tell you to look inside yourself to find Isle of the Avatar after Malchir is finished speaking or else Raven will not suggest going to the isle of the avatar and you will be stuck.

This is what I did:
I first read the book that Shamino left to tell you what to do. Then I lit the pedestals to remove the forcefield. Then I read all the labels for the candle of love etc. Then I placed all three items on their holders. First I lit the candle. Then I read the book. Then I rang the bell and typed in the mantra "OM". I convinced Malchir to tell me how to summon Pyros and then Shamino told me to look inside myself to find the isle of the avatar. No bug! You could also use the pentagram at Destard to summon Pyros. It works but after Abyss the plot gets screwy anf you have to use flycheat to fix everything. It is much easier just doing the ritual the right way and going to the isle of the avatar.
