They conclude their review like this: Etherlords is a game of interesting challenge, with combat that is unpredictable and enemies who can be very powerful. The graphics are great, although the sound isn't very special. The predictability of Etherlords makes it stand alone as a game of chance in many ways. Like the roll of dice, you may win the battle this time and you may loose the next battle to an even easier opponent. That is what makes Etherlords both challenging and fun.
