HomeLAN Fed has contacted Blizzard to ask for an update on the technical problems apparently plaguing 'World of Wacraft':In a phone chat with Blizzard's PR reps Lisa Jensen and Gil Shif this evening, they both told HomeLAN that these problems are being adddressed and fixed, saying that the main problems with the game happened within the last week or so with the However, they also confirmed to us that for the moment they are no longer shipping any new copies of the game to stores, saying that their last shipment was made in the last week or so. "We are making sure that the servers are stable before we start shipping more copies," Jensen said. She would not give a timetable for when they plan to ship additional copies to stores. Currently, Blizzard has 88 server devoted to World of Warcraft. Jensen would not state when Blizzard plans to put additional servers for the game online. Find it here. |
