It improves on many of the ideas of Diablo II, and brings in new elements as well. The only reason that I give Sacred a 9 is due to the fact that Ascaron is virulently opposed to mods of any kind. A few good mods could extend the already extensive replay value of this game. IMHO, Sacred and Sacred UW (the expansion) are better than Diablo II. Sacred Underworld: 9/10 points I give underworld a 9 because of the same reason I gave Sacred a 9. Ascaron is opposed to any sort of modding to the game, and that could make this great game even better. I think it is better than Diablo 2.
