RPGVault continues their series of interviews with people from the Mimesis Online team, this time talking to Marcin Baryski. Here's something about him:
Jonric: What does your job entail in the way of major functions and responsibilities?
Marcin Baryski: Well, as one of the 'founding fathers' of Tannhauser Gate, I'm responsible for making sure that our project gets out there in the form it's supposed to have. I was the main ideas man behind Mimesis Online in the early days. Now most of my day's work focuses on coordinating work on the game system and the game world and design. Artur takes care of the technical side of things.
Jonric: Please tell our readers a bit about your background as a gamer.
Marcin Baryski: I'm a computer gamer above all. I started out on an Atari 65XE, then had an Amiga, and then graduated to PCs. I have a great love of pen and paper RPGs too, and I've put in some time on CCGs, although of all the games out there, I'd say I have the least interest in them. |
